About

Just learning to blog. How much to share; things I think about doing, everything actually done, or things I know I will never complete but would love to be able to accomplish. Guess I will start with the wonderful experience our family had last night.

What a wedding! My FIL married his high school sweetheart! 70 plus years later, but something he wanted to do for decades! They found each other when both were not attached – finally. Yes they have lived long lives, but now they are going to have the chance to be married to their high school sweetheart and enjoy some of the dreams which have been tucked away in the corner of their memories for such a long time. Both had been married and raised their offspring. Yes, they had both lived quite a long lifetime already, but still have experiences they to actually live – not just to wonder or ponder in the privacy of their own minds. Their long coveted dreams have come to fruition! Now they are free to share in each others life, dreams and hopes.

  1. Dear Mom2pekes2

Never before in my entire blogging life of 9 months, I have felt so much love and joy that my heart overflowed with happiness and my eyes with tears. Thank you for the thoughts and the time to send me so many comments – each one so encouraging and loving. I feel I am pretty good with words, but I cannot adequately thank you for what you have done for me, my blog and my confidence (oh boy!!!).

Sending you lots of love and hugs,
    Preeti.

    • Dear Preeti, Please forgive me for taking so long to reply. I am still learning how to use WordPress and did not realize I had a comment from someone until this evening. You are so welcome. You do beautiful work.I still do not have the gumption to do the design process. It is just over my head, so I must stick with someone else’s pattern. I have no problem choosing or replacing different material or fabric patterns, but designing my own quilt – well it will be a long LONG time before I even attempt it. I do love that you prefer bright colors as I do. The quilt you made your friend Joyce is so beautiful, but it would have been very hard for me to work with colors I do not like. Joyce’s quilt is truly a labor of love. I tried to catch up with some of your accomplishments – you just get better with experience. I also enjoyed your scottie tote bag as I really love my fur babies. Please keep blogging because you are so good; you have a real knack for it as well as the quilting, sewing, and designing. I will definitely remain part of your cheering section! Hope you have a great quilting life!
